Baby Scream

Thanks to Oliver from OK! Records for sending me Baby Scream CD all the way from England to my house. ALL songs are great. I cannot stop listening to this CD. And to my surprise my name and the name of my music project appear in the 'Thanks to' section. By the way, I never thought that my name could be so close to Eric Dover on a CD booklet because when I was 15 I would listen to 'It's Five O'Clock Somewhere' by Slash's Snakepit on end.

I’ve just finished writing a new song which I have been working on for the last two days. It does not have a title yet, but here’s the lyrics:

When Songs Fight Windmills

The sound of a piano. Chopin's music fills the gap left by people who have gone to bed. I have been here before. Nights full of memories. Things which could not be achieved come and go. I need to get back to songwriting. Perfection means no result. You look for perfection and as you cannot find it, you do not write. Sometimes I feel like writing an epic 20-minute long song.

It seems to be so easy to achieve. It is really far, far off my hands. Time! What have I done?! A little light has appeared on this dark place, but I do not think that it will stay in or maybe I just need to take advantage of it, and now the question is; how? Culturally how? Too late? What?!

Rain. And all of a sudden, they sky turned yellow, then red and lastly, violet. It was weird, but a nice natural show.

Now this is a peaceful place. I am lost. Too many lights. I have seen it all. A place for sounds is what I am looking for now.

Dawn from Japan has made a vid for her ‘A brief look at life on Okinawa’ series using ‘Might Be Forgettable’ (aka, formerly, WHTMIBF) as soundtrack.

I wrote this song in 2007 in 20 or 30 minutes, lyrics and music. I woke up and had to write it right away. I first called it 'What Hurts The Most Is Being Forgettable', but I thought it was too long, then changed it to 'What Hurts The Most', but there was something missing; the word 'forgettable'. Nowadays, it's called 'Might Be Forgettable' and I think I like that title the most.

‘Tied To My Past’ was selected as a ‘soundtrack’ for DIWjaw’s project: ‘A look at the daily island weather conditions on Okinawa’ It was featured from July 14^th to July 19^th.
